You don’t have to decide anything yet.

One of the most common things I hear from new patients is this:

“I’ve been thinking about booking… but I’m not sure yet.”

Often that hesitation comes from a feeling that booking a consultation means committing to something straight away.

But it really doesn’t.

A consultation isn’t about walking in and immediately choosing a treatment. It’s simply a chance to talk things through.

Many people arrive unsure of what they want, or even what might help. They might just feel that their skin looks a little more tired than it used to, or that something feels different when they look in the mirror.

That’s a completely normal place to start.

My role during a consultation isn’t to persuade anyone into treatment. It’s to listen, understand your concerns and help you make sense of the options available.

Sometimes we decide that a treatment could help.

Sometimes we talk about skincare or ways to support the skin’s health over time.

And sometimes the outcome of the consultation is simply reassurance.

There are also moments where the most responsible thing I can say is that treatment isn’t necessary or isn’t the right option right now. Good aesthetic medicine should always leave space for that.

Because the goal isn’t to change someone’s face. It’s to support natural, thoughtful enhancements that help you feel refreshed and confident in your own skin.

That kind of decision shouldn’t feel rushed.

A consultation gives you the time and space to understand what’s possible, ask questions and think about what feels right for you.

A few reminders:

You don’t need to know exactly what you want before booking.

A consultation is about understanding your options, not committing to treatment.

It’s completely okay to take time to think afterwards.

And sometimes the best plan is simply to wait.

If you’ve been considering booking but weren’t quite ready to decide, starting with a conversation can often bring the clarity people are looking for.
